Providing effective, discreet and affordable solutions to the problems of alcohol and drugs misuse
Terms & conditions

Lifelong Recovery offers a free screening assessment over the phone to all clients, from which information and advice, also free of charge, is offered. As these assessments are conducted over the phone, and possibly lack essential non-verbal data which could be acquired in a face-to-face assessment, their effectiveness is limited. As a result, the information and advice provided by Lifelong Recovery following a screening assessment conducted over the phone, should be considered as general as opposed to specific, and should not be interpreted as a clinical diagnosis and/or clinical recommendation. For specific clinical information and advice we recommend that clients use either our Private Services, see their GP, or utilise the services of another suitably qualified professional and/or organisation. In the case of urgent medical conditions, we suggest that clients attend their local Accident and Emergency Department as soon as possible.

Lifelong Recovery only provides free information and advice to residents of the UK, therefore, anyone requesting information and advice from Lifelong Recovery will be presumed to be a UK resident. Lifelong Recovery accepts no liability or duty of care to persons outside of the UK.

Lifelong Recovery provides a range of client services. Addictions Therapy (provision and training) is our speciality, and we are suitably qualified, experienced, and have the appropriate professional liability insurance to provide this service. From time to time we may recommend the services of other carefully selected, and suitably qualified and experienced professionals, (e.g. Home Detoxification Nurses or Specialist Therapists/Counsellors), or organisations (e.g. Residential Rehabilitation Centres) to help meet client's needs. Lifelong Recovery may charge a referral fee to these professionals/organisations should a client decide to use their services. These fees are paid to Lifelong Recovery by the professionals/organisations and not by the client; who we guarantee will never knowingly pay more, and may possibly pay less, than other private clients receiving the same service/s from the same professional/organisation. Lifelong Recovery guarantee that all such referrals will always be based on clinical need and not on the financial remuneration Lifelong Recovery may receive from the referral.

The professionals/organisations that Lifelong Recovery refers clients to are fully responsible (clinically and legally) for the care of such clients. Lifelong Recovery accepts no liability or duty of care to clients with regards to services provided by professionals/organisations that they have referred clients; at the time of delivery or at any time in the future. If, however, you experience any problems with any of the professionals/organisations that Lifelong Recovery refers you to, please let us know as soon as possible.

Individuals can, and do, overcome substance misuse problems in a variety of ways and time frames, however, substance misuse treatment outcomes can often be difficult to define and can vary from one individual to another. Whilst Lifelong Recovery will always make every effort to help clients effectively and efficiently address their substance misuse problems, and achieve their short, medium and long term goals (in relation to their substance use and other areas of their lives), no guarantees are provided to clients, explicitly or implicitly, that these will be achieved.
