Public Services
On contacting Lifelong Recovery, all clients are offered a free Screening Assessment, over the phone, with Addictions Therapist David Taylor. The purpose of this assessment is to ascertain basic client need, discuss options, and determine whether the services provided by Lifelong Recovery would be suitable to meet their requirements. Lifelong Recovery will never attempt to provide services to clients that it is not sufficiently competent to deliver. Clients are at liberty to remain anonymous, however, any private information provided is treated as confidential, and will be handled, stored and used appropriately. Lifelong Recovery takes client privacy very seriously, and fully complies with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Based on the information provided during the Screening Assessment, and where appropriate, clients are offered, free of charge, information of free local alcohol and drug treatment services in their area, and basic harm reduction advice to reduce immediate risks. However, specific medical advice is not provided. All clients are able to access the sources of free information available from the Links section of our website, and use the free Self-Assessment tools to help them decide whether they have a potential problem with their use of alcohol and/or drugs.
Clients are welcome to access further information on the full range of additional services provided by Lifelong Recovery, by viewing the Private Services and Corporate Services sections of our website.
