Providing effective, discreet and affordable solutions to the problems of alcohol and drugs misuse
About Us

Our philosophy

Lifelong Recovery views alcohol and drug misuse as a life problem, and like many other life problems, can be successfully managed to enable individuals effected by the condition to go on to live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.

For a variety of biological, psychological and social reasons, many individuals 'learn' to use substances to cope with life's ups and downs, to a point at which this method of coping becomes problematic in itself. However, because this way of coping can become so ingrained, it is often the case that they will return to the same learned behaviour to manage these problems also, and thus the cycles of substance dependency and addiction can take hold.

Lifelong Recovery firmly believes that all individuals possess the ability to learn new coping strategies, and with the appropriate guidance, support and encouragement, can make significant and lasting positive changes to the way they live their lives.

For this to be accomplished however, Lifelong Recovery considers that a different approach is required to that which is delivered by the majority of alcohol and drug treatment service providers in the UK today.

We achieved this by:
  • Employing evidence based knowledge and clinical skills acquired through specific training in the treatment of addictions.
  • Providing clients with an individualised service based on best practice; free from political bias, externally imposed financial restrictions and bureaucratic constraints.
  • Working with clients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, thereby helping to avoid the unfortunate social stigma often associated with substance misuse problems.
  • Offering a fully integrated and coordinated service, so that clients can be assured that they are being provided with an effective, comprehensive and structured treatment package, that has been tailored to meet their individual needs.
  • Providing an ongoing service of 'recovery coaching', to assist clients in maintaining the progress they have made, and additional support during periods when their recovery is more challenging.
Above all, we care. Our client's recovery is precious to them, therefore it is at the heart of everything we do.
